Linda Nohemi Garcia Jocón
I am an English teacher with experience gained both as a student and teacher through various English language programs sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala. These programs, which encompass English, entrepreneurship, and environmental issues, have been beneficial in my professional development, allowing me to acquire skills in leadership, commitment, and responsibility.
In 2022, I obtained international teaching certifications, including iTAC and TESOL, which affirm my ability to deliver lessons effectively and professionally. Since 2021, I have had the opportunity to teach English to a diverse range of students, from children to adults, in organizations and programs dedicated to educational growth. My experience includes roles at Fundación Construyendo Sueños, the Eeagles program, and the Access English program from the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala. Currently, I am part of Fundación Ixtatán, where I am responsible for teaching English as a second language in the CORE program (“Connecting Officers with Real-life English”), contributing to the development of practical language skills in a professional setting.
